Israel is currently facing an unprecedented campaign of delegitimization. The Boycott, Sanctions and Divestment (BDS) movement is spearheading a concerted effort by Western pro-Palestinian activists, radical unionists, neo-Marxist groups, and major Christian denominations to combat perceived U.S. political bias toward Israel.

Existential threat
At the heart of the delegitimization campaign is the assumption that the establishment of the State of Israel was a historical “wrong” that needs to be righted. There is a belief that Israel is a racist, apartheid entity that can be dismantled in favor of a single binational democratic state of Jews and Arabs living together in “peace.” Once “Israel” – as a Jewish national homeland – is discredited by comparison with apartheid-era South Africa, it can then be demonized as the main obstacle to peace in the Middle East. Once its existence can be proven to be a violation of international law, any action it takes to defend itself can be considered illegal.
Escalating conflict
This movement is gaining powerful force in Western media and government circles at a time when Israel is facing an escalating military threat posed by Iran's pursuit of nuclear weapons and its active sponsorship of proxy armies in Syria, Lebanon, and the Gaza Strip.
Equipping the Church
Our main goal is to oppose the delegitimization of Israel by equipping the Church with the necessary tools for the theological defense of Israel and to counter the propaganda attack of the boycott, divestment and sanctions movement.
Theological battle
Of great concern is the increasing extent to which this movement is targeting and influencing new-generation evangelical and post-evangelical leaders who see Christian Zionism as the basis for everything that is wrong with traditional evangelicalism of the previous generation. Our Bible study resources will lay a solid theological foundation for Christian support of Israel and the biblical mandate to love and stand with the Jewish people.
