The Macedonian Branch of the International Christian Embassy Jerusalem unreservedly condemns the attempted arson attack on the EZRM facility in Skopje. We believe that this is a deliberate provocation to incite hatred towards the Jewish people and Israel.

Those behind this agenda hope to draw more souls into the darkness of anti-Semitism, which has never been characteristic of the Macedonian people. Moreover, the time at which this is happening is right on the greatest Christian holiday, Easter, which only a seriously sick mind could come up with. Because Jews have been and are part of us for centuries.

We would like to call on you not to succumb to such or similar provocations, to check the news for a more realistic picture of events in the Middle East, and to refrain from prejudices, conspiracy theories, and daily entertainment attractions.

We expect that the perpetrators of this crime will soon be brought to justice and that the idea behind this act will be fully condemned.
