Prayer Initiative - The Festival of Tabernacles in Israel

Updated: Apr 2

Prayer Initiative - Sukkot

The biblical feast of Tabernacles (Tabernacles, Booths) is unique in both character and meaning. It is an eight-day time designated by God, when amidst all the cares of this world, we turn to Him, to what He has done and to what is to come. In a great measure, the character of Tabernacles unites the peoples of the world to Israel and to the Holy City - Jerusalem, as God commands both the Jews to welcome us and the Gentiles to join His chosen people. This festival is the most significant harbinger of the Kingdom of God. Of course, we can draw comparisons between Passover and Easter, or Christmas and Hanukkah, but Tabernacles remains unique. It usually takes place in or around October each year. (More about the Feast of Tabernacles - Sukkot at the link.

The Biblical feast of SENICI (Tabernacles, Booths) is unique in both character and meaning.

Therefore, we raise this prayer, with faith that the Lord can open doors even where we may not be able to.

This initiative also has a practical nature, which means that you could participate in several ways:

  1. With your prayer

  2. With the intention of participating in the group that will go to Israel for the Tabernacles (this of course also includes praying and setting aside funds for the tour, or asking for help)

  3. You can help with your donation to the traveling group

For your participation in the initiative, please notify us by email at icejmacedonia@gmail.com
